Managing the BID

BID's activities are overseenby a Steering Group of businesses and other stakeholders operating in the BID area.  The group meet monthly (see dates below) to oversee and monitor the delivery of projects and other BID objectives.

The role of the Steering Group is to:

• Uphold and promote the BID’s vision and objectives
• Deliver the agreed programmes to target and budget
• Provide strategic direction
• Consult on proposals to renew the BID at the end of its first term

The BID team is hosted by by North and Western Lancashire Chamber of Commerce with a separate operational base located in the BID area. BID employs one Operations Manager, one Marketing & Events Manager, four full time BID Amabassadors and one part-time BID weekend cleanser.
